Robert Altman legendary director of films such as Network, Nashville, MASH and Gosford Park among other has passed on at the age of 81 of non-disclosed causes.
He was known for making highly naturalistic movies, but with a stylized perspective and large ensemble casts.
When asked about retirement he said:
Retirement? You're talking about death, right?
